A lot of interruptions
HOW DID YOU GET STARTED?
Was a magazine illustrator in my early twenties, then I bought a Macintosh II, by consequence I became automatically a graphic designer.
WHAT IS THE BEST THING ABOUT WHAT YOU DO?
WHAT IS THE WORST THING ABOUT WHAT YOU DO?
Being interrupted and…certain clients.

WHERE DOES CREATIVITY COME FROM?
The need to have a world with great kerning space everywhere
WHO’S WORK DO YOU LOOK UP TO? (Either currently or in the past)
All the Type Directors Club Annuals (disclosure: I’m in their Board of Directors). Some of my favorite designers are Louise Fili, Charles Spencer Anderson and Herb Lubalin.

Shitty…, but I’m an optimist so I hope we reached the bottom so it can get only better from here.

Hopefully a lot of type design

Get the hell out of Italy!
ONE DEFINING MOMENT OF YOUR CAREER SO FAR.
Generating the first font I’ve designed and seeing it work on a design application
