CANON D10 ///
February 26, 2009 · Leave a Comment
“Canon breaks out of the digital camera box with their oddly-contoured Powershot D10. The waterproof camera shoots 12-megapixel photos, can withstand a four-foot drop with its shockproof design, and can be accessorized with different faceplates and even a carabiner clip.”

Keith Loutit

Keith Loutit is a photographer based in Sydney, Australia (one of my favorite cities in the world). He makes these remarkable short films that incorporate tilt-shift and time-lapse photography. I don’t know what to say about these miniature worlds he creates, they’re just awesome. Check them all out on Vimeo.

I was contacted the other day and asked if i had been involved with a magazine cover for relevant magazine for a recent issue, due to the eerily similar image to the “remove the blindfold” campaign we have been using for jamie marx for almost 2 years now,, its almost creepy how similar the image is, some one even said the guy looks like me… hahaha… more details to come….

Aric Mayer
August 15, 2008 · Leave a Comment
I’m always really amazed at excellent photography, probably because I fought for a “C” in B&W Photography while in design school. Everything was always blurry! Aric Mayer, on the other hand, is a Brooklyn-based artist with some stunning photos. There’s something about his collection of photos, titled A Wilderness My Own, that can’t keep me from looking them up in my bookmarks time after time.
There’s also some great writing on his blog, his article Aesthetics of Catastrophe, which tells of what he saw only days after Hurricane Katrina hit New Orleans, was recently published by Duke University’s Public Culture.

Alberto Seveso

Alberto Seveso is a graphic designer and illustrator based in Italy. His illustrations of Kelly Slater for an editorial piece are absolutely mind-blowing. Combining illustration and photography effectively is quite difficult, but Alberto makes this stuff look effortless.
